The Clearwater County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Golf Scramble to raise needed funds for continued operations. The event was held August 16 at the Orofino Golf & Country Club, with tee off at 9am. Ten teams registered for the day of fun and friendly competition. Lessie Roughton and Heather Finke co-hosted and organized the festivities with food provided by the clubhouse. Thank you to Carolyn and her crew for all they did to help make it a success. The taco bar lunch was delicious!
Registration check-in began at 8am with coffee and muffins provided by the chamber. The teams of 4 played each hole with either an obstacle or silly twist on the game and laughed their way to the green. A cocktail cart made its way out to the Gold Sponsor team with complimentary drinks of their choice, delivered with spirited service by Becky Colwell and Lessie.
