The Clearwater County Chamber of Commerce appreciates all the volunteers, sponsors and attendees at our annual Lumberjack Days Beer Garden fundraising event. Without the support of our community, we would not be able to continue the mission of the chamber. Thank you all so much!
Please join us for our General Membership Meeting October 2nd from 4-5pm at O-Town Mugs & Grubs. We host monthly meetings at various locations each month, usually on the first Wednesday. This month we are presenting “Biz Buz” for a round table rotation to get to know your local businesses and what they offer. Bring your business card or flyer to share and stay for networking after.
Next on the agenda is Trick or Treat Rockin’ the Street, happening this year on Halloween, Thursday, October 31st. Join us on Johnson Avenue in Orofino from 5-7pm for a family friendly, fun and safe place to get treats, play games and visit with generous business partners. This event is free and open to the public. Let us know if you would like to participate!
Then get ready to bring in the holidays with us by lighting the Orofino City Park with Christmas cheer. We need your help to keep this tradition going. Our wonderful partner LCCU is helping to put the parade together again this year. If you would like to decorate a rig, build a float, or just walk in costume let them know. Hanging lights is a big job, but many hands working together can be fun and make it go quickly. The IDYCA cadets are scheduled to meet us at the park on Friday, October 25th from 8:30am to noon. This is a great opportunity to work with them and teach these young people about community pride in volunteerism. We also have arranged to begin stringing lights in treetops on October 20. Your time will be much appreciated and recognized by many. Please consider giving a little time to this wonderful tradition. A committee is forming soon to decide on this year’s theme and any other activities to be held during the event on Friday December 6, 2024.
