The Clearwater County Chamber of Commerce welcomes Buck Hollow Lodge to membership. Sharlene Mitchell and Deanna Nelson are sister co-managers along with Sharlene’s husband Robert. They enjoy living next door to the Lodge on this beautiful property and being able to share it with others. The lodge was built in 2007 by their father whose dream was for the whole family to gather and spend quality time together. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, dining that seats up to 28, with a game room and much more, comfortably sleeping 16 guests. You must visit the website to see the images of the building and the land to appreciate all it has to offer. Sitting just off of Freeman Creek Road in Lenore, just 4 miles from Dworshak Reservoir and 20 miles from Orofino, access to outdoor adventures are minutes away, including thousands of acres of Idaho public lands and wilderness area. The sisters and their mother couldn’t imagine selling the place after Dad’s passing, so they offered the lodge privately to test the rental interest and soon after VRBO was introduced to standardize the
process, which has increased their reservation network, but still keeps it in the family. Plenty of room for parking allows for trucks, trailers, boats and multiple car use. This offers fishers and hunters space needed for all vehicles and towing essentials. The property also
offers dry camping space just off the side of the lodge setting. A pond off the beautiful back deck sitting area provides viewing for birds and other wildlife as well as offering fishing to visitors for stocked Crappie and Smallmouth bass. If you enjoy farm animals, you are welcomed to come along at feeding times to visit the goats, chickens, pigs and alpacas raised on the property too. Fresh pork and goat milk lotions and soaps are made here and available for purchase on a visit to the Furry Tale Mercantile in Kendrick or online. This location is perfect for family gatherings, reunions, and special
events. They also have all the chairs for seating an outdoor wedding available. Give them a look through the chamber website directory https://clearwatercountyadventures.com/places/buck-hollow-lodge.
